What makes MOST people fearful regarding their individual lives, seldom, if ever doing what
they want to do regarding their careers, oftentimes setting for jobs they.....BARELY TOLERATE, even HATE? Do you strongly portend that MOST people lead gray, monotonous lives of utter desperation-psychologically, even psychically.......DROWNING? Why do MOST people never profit from their talents & creativity career-wise?
In a word: fear. The fear is usually that of being frightened that if they lose the job or jobs they already hold they will be in even worse straights. To our minds, it doesn't seem easy to take a risk and leave what we know behind for the UNKNOWN. It's risky. This is one aspect and a strong one.
The other is not understanding enough about ourselves. Self-knowledge, really worked on seriously, not given lip service to, can make a great difference. Once we've developed a Philosophy of Life we can live with our whole attitude changes. And when all is said and done, it is how we INTERPRET our situation to ourselves that is the deciding factor in the way we look at our world.
It can take time to monetize your talents, find a niche.
And many people don't want to turn off the TV and work on the side on their dream while working a full time job to make the transition smoother.
So the common "go for your dream" model is a headlong rush into a "dream" with little plan, a failure and deep debt, followed by working harder at a job that pays the bills to pay off the debt.

Why are so many people threatened by, fearful of, or even phobic regarding atheists and agnostics?Atheists and agnostics have a different philosophy and ethical premise. However, they are extremely moral and ethical people. They are inwardly motivated in terms of their philosophy.
