   Missed period negative pregnancy blood test
   
   I am 24 years old.I have been trying to conceive since december 2016.I have regular periods .I am 10 days late on my period which is very strange as my period is always on time.I have lower cramps that feels like menstuation cramps for the past two weeks now.My breasts are sensitive.I went to the doctor as I was not sure whats happening. My blood test came back negative . Did I test too soon or is something wrong.I never had any problems in the past with my menstrual cycle.It feels like my period wants to start but it never happens.I have not been on any birth control.Please advice.

   Did you test at 10 days past your missed period?  That would be plenty of time for the HCG levels to show a pregnancy.  Really anything a few days past the missed period should show a pretty clear positive. 
   
   I've often found that stressing about a missed period (whether because you do or don't want to be pregnancy) can delay it even further.  It's completely normal for a period to show up late at some point in your life, and unless you're showing any other concerning symptoms I'd just wait for it to show up without thinking about it too much.  If it still hasn't come by the time you're due your next one then definitely go back to the doctor, otherwise I'm sure everything is okay and you can go back to trying to conceive next month.

      Hi I tested 7 days after my missed period. Today I am 11 days late but I did not test again.I wil wait till the end of January. Really confused

   If you didn't get enough pee on it, try again. Or wait a couple days; since the hormone levels double every two days in early pregnancy, if you are pregnant, just waiting a few days will prove whether or not it is positive.
