If you're like me, you might be feeling hungry just because you're tired. Generally I can stay awake well into the following morning or even a couple of days at a time without feeling sleepy, but getting increasingly hungry. Also, do you tend to drink a lot of water throughout the day, or add in a lot of coffee, tea, soda pop, etc.? Dehydration also causes hunger-type reactions in the body. Other than that, it could very well be because you're too busy to notice during the day. Do you eat anyway even when you don't feel hungry during the day? If not, that could be some of the problem...even small meals at breakfast and lunch can help significantly in this area. As far as losing weight, depriving the body of food never works as it just helps the metabolism crash and encourages the body to eat muscle tissue to sustain itself. Breaking up a balanced food intake into small, well-spaced meals with the heavier food in the morning, combined with sufficient exercise, can really help. Portion control seems to be the biggest issue for a lot of people, and if you're only eating one good meal a day this can be much more difficult to keep within a good range.
