Well I would asume this person will be over 55? In that case a diet that high in fibre and low in carbs would be good, plenty of bread/crackers and cerials, less foods like potatoes. A limited amount of proteins like egg and meat, the best foods are fish and vegetables for a person of that age. My Dad is retired and this is the diet he follows, he 82 and very heathly.
