   This is a severe anxiety didsorder that one develops after a traumatic event. May be characterised by nightmares, sleep disturbance, disturbance in social activities as the individual is unable to resume normal social life after trauma etc. emotional disturbances like out burst of anger may also be a symptom. well managed with medication.

Possible sources of trauma include experiencing or witnessing childhood or adult physical, emotional or sexual abuse.Also, experiencing or witnessing an event perceived as life threatening such as physical assault, adult experiences of sexual assault, accidents, drug addiction, illnesses, medical complications, etc.

   ptsd= stress disorder occurring after an acute traumatic event.. ppl are unable to sometimes carry on their daily acivities, especially when they encounter any condition that evenly remotely reminds them of the stressor they have experienced.

   PTSD is a psychological condition (an anxiety disorder) in which the affected person relives a traumatic incident. There are many symptoms of PTSD including:
   -reoccuring nightmares
   -being easily startled
   -having flashbacks (reliving the traumatic incidence)
   Depression and chronic anxiety is also common in people with PTSD.
