   Is Apple Cider Vinegar really healthy? If so what is it good for?
   
   I have heard about apple cider vinegar being something that is healthy but dont know much about it. I did some searching online and it seems that there is a lot of disagreement.

   THere is always going to be disagreement, there are a lot of know it alls .  However , I have personally used ACV ( with the mother) to treat a diaper rash on my daughter and to help with sore throats and a case of gingivitis and a fungal infection on my dog's skin ( worked better than his medication)

   I use Apple Cider Vinegar to cure heartburn.
   But isn't that adding to the problem? No.
   
   Heartburn works this way: when your stomach doesn't produce enough acid  to digest your food quickly enough, some of that sludge backs up your esophagus, bringing acid with it. By adding vinegar to your stomach, you increase the digestion. Problem solved.
   On that note, antacids are the wrong way to go. An antacid destroys what little acid is already in the stomach, forcing your stomach to suddenly produce a massive punch of acid to get the job done. This trains the digestion in the wrong direction.

   I have used it myself and then stopped for awhile when I ran out.  Recently, I started to get some arthritis in my toe (where it had been broken badly).  My doctor had told me before that I would probably develop arthritis and always have it.  A friend reminded me to keep taking the apple cider vinegar, which helps with arthritis, so I did.  The pain went away and hasn't been back.

   Apple cider vinegar worked wonders on my bruised ribs. I used it as a cold compress three times a day to speed healing.
   
   My father takes ACV on a daily basis - four tablespoons at least. It helps him with him arthritic knees. Bless!
   
   It's great for athlete's foot too. Just soak the foot in a 50:50 mixture of ACV and water for 20 minutes every day and the fungus is usually gone in about a week.

   Apple Cider Vinegar is one of the oldest natural remedies.  It is known to help with weight loss by getting rid of the toxins in the body and helping to regulate the digestive system.  Many people also use it to treat acne, either topically or internally.  Internally it helps to regulate hormone levels and reduce adult acne.  Apple Cider Vinegar has natural antibacterial qualities, which is one reason why it's widely used as a natural home remedy.  I have also heard of people using ACV for sunburns, but I haven't personally tried it.
