Do you think that anti-ageing products work at all?

Is it necessary to use anti-ageing products?  Or, is it better to have a good diet over the years, so that the ageing process in a person will slow down?  What do you think?

I have about 15 years of Pharmacy training.

Most of the anti-ageing products on the market strip away the top layer of skin, therefore giving the appearance of young skin. I would go for the good diet over the years wink

I have to agree with MickS & Jezhug, plenty of chlorophyll found in green veg. & fruit, when eaten raw, is one of the best ways to achieve a more youthful appearance & of course it benefits the body inside too.
As far as anti-aging products go, I would just stick to natural products for use on the skin as the chemicals contained in most of the expensive products by big brand names do more harm than good anyway. They are just a con really & as long as you keep your skin moisturised, say with a moisturiser composed of natural ingrediants & eat well you should get far better results.

Sometimes, it works best with range of anti-aging product. But, somehow, you need to know how to slow down the aging process naturally without depending on this stuff. For example, you can avoid too much sugar in your diet, stop smoking, stay slim, enough sleep and so on.

I disagree with most here. I don't see it as an either or, because there are a lot of bad skin care products out there, then there are some really great ones.

But I would look at it more in terms of steps. For example, you don't want to buy skin care products but not take care of your diet.

You should first start with the fundamentals, so eat a healthy diet, exercise, get rid of stress, and all those good things.

Then if you have the money, and if you've done everything else right, I would consider natural anti aging products that have been proven safe, effective, and pure.

And you can always use natural things to take care of your skin, such as jojoba oil, olive oil, or coconut oil (one of my favorites).

    Hope this helps! smile

However, anti aging skin care products should be used only as a supplement to the natural ways of skin and body care. So, drinking a lot of water, getting a good night sleep, exercising regularly, maintaining healthy eating habits and keeping stress at bay are essential means of delaying the aging process. No anti aging skin care product can replace them really...Learn more... http://www.womens-beauty-products.info

Yes anti aging products can work if its natural products ,some synthetic but branded products also work but it has lot side effects so avoid it and go for natural herbal products ,in fact  there is lot of fruits and vegetable having anti aging qualities just like cucumber , carrot juice application on face ,aloe vera application , all these have immediate effects .
