Updated on August 23, 2017

Healthy Living Learning to Eat Healthy Food

Using these Apple diet tips is an easy way to lose those unwanted pounds for healthy living and will give you more energy to enjoy life. I have been using the plan and have some ideas that are healthy and nutritious. I never really had a problem with weight when I was younger, but now it is very easy to put on the pounds. I guess when you are young you are more active, so weight isn't a problem. I now include some extra activity to my healthy living plan. I started swimming and walking they seem to be working very well. I have lost quite a few inches, and my clothes are fitting better, I am still trying to get back into those jeans I love so much. It shouldn't be too long now since I am already losing quite a few pounds.

The plan is easy, all I do on the apple diet is eat four apples each day. Since apples are one of the healthiest fruits around, I usually eat them just before a meal, and it keeps my appetite in check while I dine. The fiber is good for digestion. Another way is to eat a lot of raw food it encourages healthy digestion, and the fiber help keeps you full all day. I have a few recipes to share with you for healthy living. If you like apples, you are going to enjoy these recipes that you make ahead and eat later. When buying apples choose firm, unbruised ones with bright color. When you purchase them in a plastic bag remove them and store them in either a bin or a paper bag to prevent molding or over-ripening. Apples do absorb the odors of other foods, so keep them away from onions and other strong smelling foods.

I have been using the good four Apple plan for several months now, and I have some recipes I invented. I am planning on buying a new swimsuit so I can reward myself for the great job I have done.It is a healthy living plan, and it is easy to follow. It is based the high fiber content of the apple. Never peel apples since the benefits of high fiber in them is essential to your diet. Make sure you wash the skins of the apple before consuming them to remove any dirt or residue. If you want a fast weight loss, this plan is what you need. Eating raw food is an excellent way to boost your metabolism and the food is easy to take with you. I like to keep an apple in my purse just in case I get hungry while I'm out. This way I am not tempted by high-calorie foods. I have also discovered that a lot of gas stations with food stores usually have apples for sale. But I think carrying one is easier, so I purchase them in large bags, so I always have them at home.

Raw Apple Crisp Recipe

6-8 Servings

If you have been looking for something to fill that empty spot while on the apple diet or replace a salad with a meal this is the recipes for you. It can easily be made in advance to encourage you to eat a healthy snack. One of my ideas is to keep this in fridge all the time. This way I can easily snack on something already prepared rather than unhealthy prepackaged ones.

4 apples cored and chopped

1/3 cup of orange juice (natural)

¾ cup of raisins

¾ cup raw almonds (sliced)

¾ cup pecan halves

½ teaspoon of cinnamon

½ teaspoon ginger

Place the chopped apples into a large mixing bowl and mix in the orange juice. This juice will prevent the apples from turning brown once cut. The Add the raisins almonds, pecan, cinnamon, and ginger stir together until completely mixed. Cover and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour.

Stir before serving into individual bowls. This may be eaten to replace one apple serving for your diet. Raw apple crisp is a good between meal snack or it can be served as a salad substitute with your regular meals. I suggest you make up a large batch and add store it in the refrigerator for a couple of day. I generally will keep fresh for several days depending on the type of apples you are using. You may also add Fruit Fresh which is available in the seasoning aisle of the grocery store, sometimes call citric acid. You simply sprinkle the powder over cut fruit to prevent is from changing to a brown color.

Another one of my ideas is to prepare this the for a couple of morning breakfast meals it saves me time and I am more likely to eat something healthy rather than catching something on the run. I like to prepare a lot of my food this way so it is ready to eat when I want it. I don't want to have to prepare something while I am hungry. I am very easily tempted by something that is ready to eat when I am.

Raw Oatmeal Breakfast Recipe

Here is another good weight loss tips recipe you make in advance. It is easy to make and will keep in the refrigerator so breakfast is easy. I like to eat this raw meal every chance I get. You will get plenty of fiber along with protein for a healthy breakfast that will take you to lunch. Apples are included so you will stay full.

1 cup old fashioned oats

¼ cup of raisins

Soak these ingredients in 4 cups of water overnight. In the morning drain the water into another bowl save water. Rinse the oats and raisins and place into a blender. Using a little water at a time blend mixture together until smooth.

Add

1 whole chopped apple

¼ tsp. of cinnamon

¼ nutmeg

Hand mix these ingredients into the oatmeal raisin mixture and serve in a cereal bowl. You may add a little Agave nectar to sweeten if desired.

This counts as one apple serving which is included in your breakfast meal. Many food may be made with raw apples so you food does not become boring or predictable. I like to experiment when I cook. Many apples may be consumed as part of your meal. Just remember to eat them before finishing the rest of the food served for your meal, The bulk is good for digestion and aids in good digestion.

I also prepare this recipe in advance since it can be eaten chilled and is not cooked or heated it is and easy meal to take anywhere. I like to put it into a plastic container with a sealing top to prevent spilling. Don't forget to bring a spoon along so you can eat you meal at work or at school.
