Canker Sores Treatment - Aspirin Paste
I'm so excited to post my first article here after I got relief from my canker sore (singaw) by applying aspirin paste. I have had this painful canker sore (singaw) for the past three days. It started when I suddenly bit my lip after an anesthesia treatment for my root canal. I cannot feel anything on the left side of my mouth because of the anesthesia and I actually didn't know that I was already biting on my lower lip because it was very numb ! I actually had to ask my wife what I was biting on because I felt something rubbery between my teeth ... you can just imagine my surprise when my wife told me that I was already biting on my lower lip !
The canker sore was very painful. It started to interfere with my work and it was very painful that I cannot eat very well. I started to look for ways to relieve me of the pain. I remember I used acv before and it really stung. However, the pain just came back the canker sore was not healed. This time I applied Bactidol about 4 to 5 times a day but after two days, it was still there and still painful. So I searched the internet and came across aspirin paste as an effective way to cure canker sores. I made aspirin paste by crushing two small aspirin tablets and putting about 5 drops of water. After gargling with saltwater, I used ordinary cotton buds to apply the paste directly on the canker sore.
The aspirin paste was a miracle cure ! After about 30 minutes, I almost cannot feel any pain from the canker sore. It still stings but it more bearable. The best part is I was able to eat my dinner almost pain-free ! The pineapple that I had for desert didn't trigger any pain at all (whereas I would feel so much pain before when eating acidic foods) ... this is so amazing ! I have read that some people would put half a tablet of aspirin directly on the canker sore and they would feel an instant relief. However, I think that this may be too much as aspirin is Salicylic acid and would probably do more damage to the nerves than it should. If you would do this I think you would need to wash the excess aspirin off just to be on the safe side. I am so happy to have discovered this that I recommend to anyone who has canker sores to try this simple and easy treatment.
