Aromatherapy refers to the use of certain substances such as scented oils, lotions and inhalants that affect the mood of an individual and promote his health. Aromatherapy solutions for your Home

 Aromatherapy uses essential oils extracted from aromatic plants, compressing them. They can be inhaled or mixed with the bath water to affect the mood. They are also used to ward off insects, cool clothes and furniture.

  • Essential oils are absorbed through the skin of our body and can heal us, stimulating specific areas of our brain, when mixed with the bath water or used to massage the body.
  • A healthy spray that protects your plants at home and your garden can be prepared by adding 6-8 drops of the mixture in a gallon of water prepared by mixing oils of lavender and thyme. The thyme oil in water, helps to grow healthy, cabbage and cauliflower, and basil oil helps broccoli, potatoes and tomatoes. Chamomile oil to the onions and carrots, is a blessing for your garden.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of soap dissolved in 2 cups of boiling water with two cups of turpentine and a cup of melted natural beeswax and then add 10 drops of oil of cedar, cypress and sandalwood, for make a great finish for wood furniture.
  • To give a fresh scent to your clothing put a cloth, with two drops of bergamot, lavender oil, cedar wood, and oils of sweet orange, in the dryer when you dry it.

  • Mix about 6 drops of lavender, lemon grass, citronella and peppermint oil, a glass of water to prepare a spray that can free you from mosquitoes, ants and cockroaches.
  • Mix citronella oil with cedarwood oil, garlic and a little of refreshing for clothes and put some drops on the collar of your pet, without diluting it. Get rid of fleas in the fur of your pets, without harming them.
  • Mix together with eucalyptus, thyme, rosemary, tea, lemon and marjoram oils. To immunize your family against colds, make a spray, adding six drops of the preparation in a glass of water, or the addition of 4-9 drops in water in a humidifier.
  • Mix lemon oil, bergamot, lavender, sweet orange, oregano and thyme and stir 8 drops in a quart of hot water to freshen the bathroom. You can also use it for cleaning, pouring 2 to 3 drops of the diluted mixture in a damp sponge and wipe all surfaces. Add more oil to the sponge when necessary.
  • Add a few drops of diluted peppermint oil and mint, near your dwelling, on the edge of the roof and floor holes, to repel mice and other animals in the house.
