Insurance in the United States is in shambles. What are some long term and short term solutions to our medical problems?
Short term - dump the fiasco of Obamacare and maintain at least a semblance of fiscal responsibility. Long term, if we wish to take from the rich to pay for those that can't or won't buy health care then let the govt. pick up the cost. Eliminate the insurance companies and all their employees - that way we can afford at least minimal care for everyone.
We are the most powerful country in the world. Our education and medical systems are in shambles. We can do better than this guys.
Both need to be completely rethought.
How about an exchange of free medical care for civic duty? You do something for the country while it does something for you.
