I'm a believer I used acupuncture for terrible knee and leg pains I got after marathon training. I would have especially terrible pain when trying to sleep and driving. I noticed a HUGE difference after my first session. I was able to sleep comfortably which was the biggest issue. After that, I went about twice a week and then slowed down the sessions to once per week then once per two weeks then on an as needed basis. I definitely think acupuncture healed me up much quicker than using a western orthopedic doctor, which I also visited.
