Agnes Fenton, 110 years old, shares wisdom. Want to know the secret to living a long life? According to Agnes there is a hierarchy to follow in life: (1) God, (2) Whiskey/Beer –Miller High Life. When Agnes celebrated her 100 birthday in NJ surrounded by 40 children she looked after as a nanny she thanked God she was still here (alive). She thanks God every morning and for the record she said: she said: “He gave me a long life and a good life, and I have nothing to complain about.”
There is something to be said about taking it easy in life, loving God, and taking things one day at a time. I guess the key to a long life is not how much you run, exercise, drink kale, or get colonics but just enjoying the simplicity of live. Thanks Agnes for reminding us to keep it simple in life.
