The bast thing to do whenever starting on something like this is to see a doctor. If you have a regular doctor he/she will have any information on diets and vitamins and how it may interact with anything you are taking or any conditions you may have. When I type diet I mean it in a broad term not just losing weight but eating in general. If you don't have a doctor try and find one you can speak with. Vitamins can be actually harmful if not taken correctly.
