Well as of late I have had a few people sending me messages asking me how the quitting smoking is going.
I am very proud to say that I am now at 4.5 months as a non smoker.
So in Alberta where I live smokes run an average of 10 dollars a pack. When I quit I was smoking almost 2 packs a day.
So not only am I saving 2o bucks a day but also I havent felt this good in years. Once again I can breathe and I have more energy then I can remember.
Thanks to all the hubbers that stood by me and encouraged me .
whoo hoo. congratulations dale. we're all very happy for ya. you should definitely write a hub about your journey sometime on the trials and tribulations of quitting something like smoking. i bet it would be very popular.
congratulations dale on quitting smoking. i will be joining you on november 18, 2010, for the great american smokeout! i am a little scared, and a little nervous...but i am mostly determined and ready! i will be keeping up with you because it's always nice to as many people who quit as possible! blessings!
Congrats Dale, and thanks for the update! We're all still rooting for you, you know.
Congratulations, Dale. (Now you don't have to worry about that person who wrote the thread about why smokers ought to be "shunned" and not respected. )
congratulations!!! have you or did you read my natural ways to help you quit hub? Its got some good ideas. Sucking a lemon when you have a craving for a cigarette is good. I also promised myself that I would eat my right arm before I ever had another cigarette. Which worked!! And does work.
Thanks everyone. I will be writing a hub about my quitting smoking up until now. Just been a bit busy but it will get done
Once again thanks

I quit smoking last January first, and it has stuck. I wrote a hub about it, but I just wanted everyone to know it is possible to just quit, and it wasn't that difficult.
