I ABSOLUTELY hate the expression “Put it on a shelf. With all things that are happening in my life right now that is the best answer the therapist is giving me. I understand letting things go but most people don’t understand how hard it is to let something go. I hurt the one I love and everyone wants me to “Put it on a shelf” and move on. Well I am trying but it is still eating me alive and I really think I feel like I am going crazy. Today is Valentines Day and I have the worse anxiety ever. Does anyone know anyway to cope with letting things go?
