Is there any relationship between breast cancer and endometrial cancer ? Because in some cases that I have observed, some women that have problems in endometrial cancer also face some indications in their breasts... !
Genetics is the largest component. Ovarian and some breast cancers are hormonal in nature. Not all breast cancers are related to hormones. So if a woman's breast cancer type is hormone receptor positive..that means it feeds on estrogen... some will choose to have a complete hysterectomy as a precaution. It is ultimately the choice of the woman's, and the two cancers do not always go hand in hand.
No relation between them ... but some unlucky women prone to have multi problems at same times
Yes, there is a link. Many cancers have been linked to viral origins including breast cancer and endometrial cancer. Both of these cancers have been linked to human papilloma viruses (HPV) of which there are over 80. Other cancers that have been found to be caused by HPV cervical, prostate, skin and nasopharyngeal cancers.
Cancer viruses have been known since 1908. By 1980 it was reported that every cancer oncogene that had been discovered by that time had been viral, and that no human oncogene has ever been discovered. So they are much more prevalent than people are being led to believe. Pert of this problem is that people hear on the news that some gene was discovered for human cancer and they assume that the gene is human. Often this is not the case though.
Other cancers that have been linked to viruses include various leukemias, various lymphomas, liver cancer, Kappsi's sarcoma, brain cancer, bone cancer, etc.
