well I'm back from the brink of hell..I was admitted to the hospital over the weekend for pneumonia...its very sneaky and hit me without warning.
I'm so glad to be out of the hospital and in my own bed...
      stay well everyone.

I try to pick up the chewable vitamin C tablets and carry them in my car. I notice the cough more when I am driving. I have started taking the tablets just before large meetings with lots of exposure - don't know if it will help but I enjoy the chewable tablets so...

I should invest in the zinc tablets and keep them in the car too. Maybe the next generation of cars will have a pill tablet in addition to the drink holder for oldies but goodies like me.

I think avoiding colds and flu is all about having a healthy diet and eating plenty of fruit and vegetables.  I also think that taking a daily probiotic is really important for boosting the immune system and fighting off any looming infections.  You can get probiotic in any Activia yogurts which makes it a tasty way to incorporate it into your diet.  I swear by a balanced, healthy, home made diet, complimented by a varied fitness routine.  A positive frame of mind helps keep the bugs at bay too!

I just got over the flu.  It seems I get it every November.  I do eat healthy and exercise but I guess if you're going to get it you will.

just this spring I was hospitalized, and due to my diagnosis I can't have the flu shot, so yeah, I need to be extra careful.
