@quicksand, yes our favorite karela is called bitter melon and bitter gourd. I love eating karela at dinnertime as it cleans up all the toxins and i have it mostly on weekends right after eating my delicious chicken or mutton recipe in the afternoon in lunch

No karela or bitter melon cannot be eaten raw. You have to cook and make a bitter melon vegetable recipe as shown in the above video. Yes, after preparing this, it can be consumed at dinnertime or lunchtime. I also eat karela dish in breakfast with paranthas or chapattis.

Hey Soni, This drink looks so good; however, my Asian friends complain about how bitter this melon is; and they do not like it. However, I've been reading about how great the bitter melon is so, I've asked a friend to take me on an adventure to try some.

i am suffering from digestive problems long time a go ,

i have started taking quarter a cup of bitter melon juice in the morning empty stomach and then just two table spoons of this uice before lunch and dinner few days a go, i am surprised i worked miraclously , in pakistan people normally use this juice for liver problms , to purify blood and improve digestion .

I have taken bitter melon to help level my sugar for several years and it does make a good difference. Never heard of drinking the juice...that would be a challenge.
