It is not so much positive thinking that helps. It is stopping catastrophic thinking which is a little different - it is not falling into the spiral of believing worse and worse thoughts. This could be seen as thinking positively, but it is more about thinking logically and realistically.

Being Pollyanna is not all that it is cracked up to be either ;)

I truly do appreciate the steps and I think it is a nice hub. It is so hard when in the midst of an attack to tell yourself to relax, I have tried to reason but the pain and fear of the attack usually wins for a while. I will keep trying and thank you for the advice
