Nowadays, a lot of people all over the world have a serious problem with excessive weight. Some of these problems are only aesthetic, and some of them can cause serious health issues. The fact is that obesity has become a growing problem and everyone who has weight problems should seriously consider losing weight and leading a healthier lifestyle.

Even though there are many different diet plans that can be found online and there are many weight loss specialists who can help people lose weight, nothing is more important than self control. Being responsible when it comes to eating is the key to losing weight and feeling a lot better.

Losing Weight Naturally

Owing to the fact that the modern lifestyle has made it a problem for many people to follow complicated diet and exercise plans, it must be mentioned that there are easier ways of losing weight. Here is a list of some easy ways of losing weight, which do not require complicated planning and a lot of free time:

  • Being moderate is very important when it comes to losing weight. In fact, whatever we do we should do moderately, not only eat and drink moderately. Having five or six smaller meals during the day is much better for losing weight than having two big meals.
  • Staying up until the small hours of the night drinking and eating right before going to sleep is the best way of gaining weight. Therefore, avoiding late meals and not drinking too much alcohol is extremely important for losing weight.
  • Physical activity is one of the most important things for people who are trying to lose weight. Therefore, becoming a regular at the gym and using the stairs instead of elevators will really do wonders for weight loss.

The three ways of losing weight naturally listed above have proven to be very effective for many people, and there is no reason why anyone shouldn't try to follow these simple rules.

Obesity as a Mental Problem

Many experts today consider obesity to be more of a mental than a physical problem, and there are good reasons for this. Studies have shown that obese people have a hard time believing they could be fit and they could lose weight, which makes it so difficult for them to actually do anything about their weight problem. Therefore, if you have a weight problem, the most important thing you should do is make yourself believe in the idea of losing weight. Owing to the fact that this is often easier said than done, it has to be mentioned that there are many different support groups you can join in order to achieve this goal.

How I Lost Weight

I have always had a weight problem and there were times in my life when I cared, and times when I didn’t care at all. What this means is that I went on many different diets, I’ve tried various exercise plans and none of these helped until I really decided to lose weight and until I made a serious decision based on what I believed to be true. Although a statement like this might seem ridiculous to many, the fact is that I lost more than 40 kg (90 pounds) in about six months, which is a pretty big weight loss.

What’s important is that I lost all this weight completely naturally and without using any supplements or diet plans. The only thing I did is that I stopped eating after 6 pm, regardless of the fact how hungry I was. I ate absolutely everything during the day and I drank a lot of water, I avoided eating too much sugary foods and I sat and watched my weight disappear. Therefore, I think that I can promise you will definitely lose weight by doing exactly what I did, but it is absolutely crucial that you believe in what you are doing.

What Happens If You Break the Rules?

If you eat something you haven't planed, let's say a piece of chocolate cake, don't stress about it. The important thing is that you don't give up. Even if you spend the entire day on a seafood diet, it doesn't matter as long as you get back on track.

Great job on the hub and the weight loss!! I agree with you on the eating and drinking moderately and without supplements and diet plans. That six o'clock cut-off was probably hard to do and would be for most people. You are a very determined man when you set yourself a goal. The illustration is great. Voted up and useful!!

Anyway, thanks for your comment and yes, it was hard for me to stop eating in the evenings, and it still is.

I must admit I have broken the six o'clock rule quite a few times since then, but it didn't hurt me at all, so no harm done :)
