The normal range for adults are between 60-100 bpm or beats per minute.
How to find this number.
You must find the pulse on your neck or wrist. There are other spots to detect a pulse however these are the best choices. Using your index and second finger only, press on the pulse and count the beats in a 15 second period. Multiply that number by 4 to reach beats per minute.
Knowing Your Heart Rate
Knowing your heart rate will let you know if you should see a Doctor.
Babies to age 1....................100-160 bpm
Children ages 1 to 10........... 70-120 bpm
