Natural Healing With Herbs and Raw Foods
My wife Cheryl and I are Master Herbalists located in Detroit. From time to time we have read hub pages about the good and not so good of the benefits of herbs and/or raw foods. I hope we may be able to shed a little more light on the subject. Herbs are plant foods. This is not a scientific definition, it is a practioners definition. You became a natural practictioner at that moment when you decide you are one. And, when you advise yourself to take something natural such as, as Bee Pollen, as a supplement to your eating regime, you are already practicing. As you see yourself finally improving over a period of the next few weeks and months, despite the stress you are under not letting up, and are pleased with the results you can advise others to take it also. As you see them improve,and are pleased,the process is complete. Herbs have been here since folks began eating. They are not new and were used long before people called themselves doctors and scientists. They worked then and they still work.A great deal of information concerning what herbs to use for what was intuitive and some trial and error as people sought what helped them but what we now have is an impressive list of plants that lead to better health.There is a solution to every physical problem. It was meant to be that way. It is not experimental. The great religions of the world say much and give much information about the use of herbs.Being that there are so many physical differences among us, it stands to reason one herb may do more for a particular person than another but do not despair. There is an herb for you also. There is no wrong herb. Herbs do not have side effects, only intended effects. Herbs have primary effects and secondary effects. Your practictioner will advise for you the best herb for your specific condition. Other areas of your body will have positive results too. Where to start with a herbal regime? CLEANSE!!!! Get a good bowel cleaning herb. Get a good blood cleaning herb. Get a good liver cleaning herb. A good lymphatic system cleaning herb is highly recommended. Calm the nerves with a nerve and brain herb. Leave the "junk foods" made with white flour, white sugar, margarine and other hydrogenated fats, table salt, and any foods with chemical additives. Drink clean water (steamed distilled). In closing, never despair that the herbs don't work. This is a cooperative team effort. The team is made up of the herb or herbs, the Creator who gave them to us, the suggestions your practictioner makes and you. You don't have to worry about the Creator-He is always willing to do good.
