The Fertility Diet and Maca

Eating a fertility specific diet in preparation for pregnancy and to prevent miscarriages is one of the most powerful steps you can take. Numerous studies have shown that specific changes to the diet increase the chances of healthy ovulation, preventing recurrent miscarriage and having a healthy pregnancy.
What is the Fertility Diet?
It is way of eating that supports and creates a very fertile body. You are what you eat... so if you are eating foods that support ovulation, fosters balanced hormone production, and increases the health of your eggs (to name just a few benefits) you are going to see the effects on your fertility and pregnancy.

2. Balancing the hormones through providing the body with specific foods that are necessary for making the hormones you may be lacking.
3. Nourishing the egg so it is healthy and undamaged.
4. Keeping the system balanced so it can reduce the immune system response and prevent the body from attacking the embryo.
5. It contains anti-inflammatory foods, which help to keep the embryo safe.
While eating this diet covers a lot of very important factors. The diet itself is easy to follow and tastes great. Right now I am going to share with you a super food that is included in the fertility diet. I bet you have heard about foods that are supposed to help increase your fertility... but it seems like a lot of the ones that make the news are all "old news" or just plain ridiculous.
So I figured it was time to share a great fertility food you do not hear about every day. This one actually works and has the science to prove it... I will also share with you how to make a fertility smoothie using some of this fertility food, look for the link at the end of this post.
This "super" food I am talking about is Maca.
Maca is a fertility "super-food"... and has been used for hundreds of years as a food by the Peruvians. Maca has been shown through studies and hundreds of years of use to restore fertility, balance the hormones in both men and women, and increase sperm count and libido just to name a few. Again, this is NOT a "fertility drug".
