Signing Up for Amazon Associates

Earn more money by adding your Amazon Associates ID to Hubpgages. Everytime a Hub is created on HubPages that uses our tool for adding links to Amazon, you can share in the revenue through our impression sharing services.

Step 1 - Get Started

1. Navigate to the Amazon Associates site (opens in new window).
2. Enter your Email address, and select "No, I am a new Customer"

Step 2 - Create Amazon Account if you don't have one

1. If you already have a regular Amazon Account with this email address skip to Step 4.
   Otherwise:
2. Enter your name
3. Choose a password

Step 3 - Your Contact Information

1. Enter your Payee Name
2. Enter your contact information, such as address and phone number

Step 4 - Your Website Profile

1. What is the name of your website:
   HubPages
2. What is the URL of the main Web site you use to send traffic to HubPages?
   Enter the URL to your HubPages profile
   http://www.hubpages.com/profile/YOUR_USER_NAME
3. Which of the following topics best describes your main Web site(s)?
   Choose a category that best fits with the topics you plan to write about
4. Briefly describe the type of Hubs you intend to create
   Fill in some details on what topics you plan to write about
5. Primary method for generating referrals?
   Content/Niche
6. Check the box to agree with Amazon's Associates Operating Agreement

Step 5 - Payment and Tax

1. Enter your tax name, which is likely to just be your name
2. Enter your tax identification number, which is likely to be your social security number
3. Choose your preferred payment method

Step 6 - Review and Submit

1. Now just review and submit your request to Amazon.
2. You should get a page that contains your Associates ID, as below.

Step 7 - Enter Associates ID at HubPages

1. Go to your My Account page.
2. Click edit next to Amazon, and enter your Associates ID
