A Thanksgiving List of Thankful Notes
What am I thankful for?
At first, I thought I would give you a simple list of things that I am thankful for; something to help me remember those things more easily. However, I think that I can give my list and add a few that others might be thankful for; so far so good. But I also wanted to be sure everyone knew that this hub is open and free for all who wish to add their thankful ideas. Who knows, you might help others remember more of theirs. But more importantly, we might help ourselves remember why we celebrate during this time of the year.
Okay, so now that I have put down all the usual bit of amenities, I would like to add a little something different. The Holidays are supposed to be something for us to look forward to celebrating. Lately, I see sour faces and hear moaning as the seasons approach. I wonder if, by listing what we are truly grateful for, we can bring a smile back to the Holidays?
Before I go any further, I thought I would add a bit of excitement to this hub...

I am thankful for all of my followers here on hubpages. You have given me the confidence I need to keep trying; not only in my writing, but in my other efforts
I have been struggling for a long time trying to figure out who and what I was. By joining Hubpages, I have found a community of like minded people who have greeted me as a fellow writer and helped me to hone my writing skills.
I also found the strength of mind to make more of my jewelry and actually put it up for sale. I sold a children's book (not much but it is a great beginning), and I have found so many sites that I didn't even know existed. I have begun to find my niche in the internet world.
THANKS MY HUBPAGE FRIENDS!
These are some of the serious things I am grateful for.....
***I am thankful for my children and grandchildren who give me strength to keep trying, love unconditionally, and joy in their laughter.
***I am thankful for the knowledge that my children have gained not only from me but from their own endeavors. As they grow, they show me so much more than I could have imagined.
***I am thankful for my animals who give me unconditional love no matter what I do or say. They comfort me when I am sad, they cuddle me when I am cold, and they purr me to sleep like a lullaby.
***I am thankful for the days that keep marching along, because they provide hope for the future.
***I am thankful for the roof over my head, clothes on my back, shoes on my feet, and food in my belly because without them I could not survive.

These are some of the sillier ones.....
***I am thankful for coffee, because it wakes me up quite nicely.
***I am thankful for chocolate, cheesecake, and whipped cream, just because.
***I am thankful for snow because I think it is beautiful.
***I am thankful for fall because it is the best time of the year (not too cold, not too hot, and dressed up for the Holidays).
***I am thankful for tea as it warms and soothes me on cold days.
***I am thankful for the invention of boots and coats (really I am).
***I am thankful for my car (I couldn't get along without it).
Before I end up rattling on for hours.....
Perhaps you have many things that you are thankful for. Perhaps you have things filled with memories or things filled with hope for the future. It really doesn't matter, so long as you remember that they are there for you, with you, and in many cases, because of you. Hope your Thanksgiving is filled with joy, laughter, warmth and, of course, a full belly.
Are you into the holidays?
Do you enjoy all the hub-bub and excitement of the holidays as they slide closer and closer; or are you someone who prefers a nice cup of chocolate as you sit in a warm chair by the fire? I, myself, would like to do both; but I know that doesn't always work. I do try to stay calm and laugh when things go wrong because, after all, that is what life is all about, right? Well, maybe family, friends, love and laughter should be in there too.
Sometimes, however, the rush and fuss does seem to be never ending. It feels like a great volcano that will blow any minute spewing gift wrapping, candles, lights, and deserts everywhere. But we can cap the volcano by smiling and siting in a quiet spot with a cup of our favorite drink and just remember good times.
Holidays and their icons--just for fun....

Sometimes we forget what Christmas is about; here are some items that might help you and a loved one remember that it is all "from the heart".
A unique turkey stuffing that I created to satisfy my family's meat and potatoes kind of tastes. With the 'stick to the ribs' kind of ingredients that everyone will love.
Information on why cats behave the way they do. Along with a bit of a gallery of my own babies.
