Easter Bunnies and Chocolate Rabbits in ASCII Text Art

These are a collection of ASCII art Easter bunnies and regular rabbits too. The other rabbits are cute too, even if they aren't carrying Easter eggs or Easter baskets of some kind.

One thing I still remember about Easter as a kid was the way my Mother would have our big dining room table all decked out for Easter morning. We had chocolate bunnies, Easter eggs and little fuzzy chicks in Easter baskets which she had decorated. Then, once everyone was ready, we would start hunting for the Easter eggs. We never used the fake plastic eggs, it was always hard boiled eggs which we had decorated ourselves the day before. Then there would be egg jarping and then breakfast. Usually we had family over for Easter dinner but the mornings were most often just us, 4 kids and our parents.

What Part of the Easter Bunny do you Eat First?

I never thought about how people ate their Easter bunnies when I was a kid. But, being kids, we did make jokes about the Easter bunny missing his feet, arms, belly and his head too. It was a kid thing to do.

Now I've heard people can tell a lot (or at least something) about you from whether you eat the feet or the head first. What about people who just start in the middle? I don't hear about anyone doing that, but it's certainly possible.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail

These lyrics come from EasterBunnies.net

Here comes Peter Cottontail
Hoppin' down the bunny trail,
Hippity hoppity,
Easter's on its way

Bringin' ev'ry girl and boy
A basketful of Easter joy
Things to make your Easter
Bright and gay

He's got jelly beans for Tommy
Colored eggs for sister Sue
There's an orchid for your mommy
And an Easter bonnet too. Oh!

Here' comes Peter Cottontail
Hoppin' down the bunny trail
Hippity hoppity
Happy Easter Day

Look at him hop and listen to him say,
"Try to do the things you should"
Maybe if you're extra good
He'll roll lots of Easter eggs your way

You'll wake up on Easter morning
And you'll know that he was there
When you find those choc'late bunnies That he's hiding ev’rywhere, Oh!

Here' comes Peter Cottontail
Hoppin' down the bunny trail
Hippity hoppity
Happy Easter Day.
