Best Nicholas Sparks Movies for Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is comming up. Nicholas Sparks is best known for his sappy romance novels and movies. If you want to watch some romance movies for Valentine's Day with the guy you love, here are some of his best ones.
The Notebook. An old man (James Garner) is visiting a woman in a nursing home. He reads to her from the notebook about a young couple in the 1940's. Allie played Rachel McAdams and Noah played by Ryan Gossling. Allie is rich and Noah is poor. They love each other very much and after time apart their feeings are still there. It's a great movie that shows you never really forget your first love.
Dear John. John (Channing Tatum) is enlisted in the army. One day while he is home he is at the beach. He notices a young girl Savannah (Amanda Seyfried). They soon start talking and they fall for each other. The only problem is he has to go back to war. Can they keep their romance alive without seeing each other every day? If you believe that true love means never giving up on someone than this is the movie for you.
The Last Song. Ronnie (Miley Cyrus) is visiting her estranged father (Greg Kinear) for the summer. She is rebellious and mad that he left. During her time there she meets Will (Liam Hemsworth). A rich guy and despite their differences they fall for each other. During her time there besides the budding romance her and her father get closer. Only to find out that her father is sick. What will happen? This is not only a romance movie but a family movie as well. It shows that life is short and you have to appreciate every moment you have with the special people in your life.
The Lucky One. Logan (Zac Efron) is home from the army. He gets shot but luckily he is okay. He lost his best friend. He finds a picture of a girl and starts to look for her. He visits his family but he is tramautized from the army that his aunt does not want him around the children. He is walking when he sees a job opening. He meets a girl there who is actually in the picutre who is played by Taylor Schilling. She has an absive ex husband. Can their relationship survive despite her family drama? What is the secret of the picture? Find out by watching it. It is a great romance film.
Safe Haven. Erin (Julianne McCough) is on the run from her abusive husband. She sneaks out and finds a place in North Carolina. She begins to start a whole new life under the name Katie. While she is there she meets Alex played by Josh Duhamel who is a widower and living with his two kids. She also befriends a women Jo. Alex and Katie start a relationship while her husband is looking for her. Will Alex find out who she really is? Will her husband ever find her? This movie has both romance and suspense. It is full of drama and a movie that both of you will enjoy.
The Best of Me. Amanda (Michelle Monoghan) is living with her husband and son who is 18 and getting ready to go off to college. Dawson (James Mardsden) is working at an oil rig. It explodes and he falls in the water. Luckily he survives. Both of them have a mutual friend Tuck and recieve a phone call from Tuck's lawyer who wants them to come to Tuck's house and release his ashes in the garden. Tuck has a letter for both of them. They find each other there and they know each other because 21 years earlier they were in love. Dawson was on the wrong side of the tracks and Tuck toom him in and Amanda was a rich girl. Her parents did not want them together. One day something tragic happens that tears them apart until now. Will they finally get back togethre despite where they are now in life? If you believe that when you love someone you fight and wait for them than this movie is for you.
The Best of Me recently came to DVD and demand. You could find it at redbox. You can also find some of his old movies on netflix. Happy Valentine's Day!
