Cheap Ways to Throw a Fabulous BBQ Party!
Thrifty BBQ Planning Ideas
With Labor Day weekend just around the corner, and the sunshine in full effect, many people will be celebrating with a BBQ bash. Make your BBQ party fabulous with all of these planning ideas! These ideas will make your BBQ party a cut above the rest without breaking the bank.
First and foremost, set up stations.
Create a drink station: Setup a small table and cover with a tablecloth or any other cloth of your choice. Use a big metal crate or container and fill with ice and bottled water, pop, or any other beverages you like. Also add all of the items needed for great margaritas, long island iced teas or any other adult beverage.
Create an "outdoor" necessities kit: Place bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, mini water spray bottles, and any other items needed for people to be comfortable outside for long periods of time.
Create a food station: Use a long rectangular, or square table. Place chips, and other appetizers on the table before guests arrive. Also place silverware, plates, and napkins on the table. Once your food is done place all food and condiments on the table.
If you have a pool, or live on a lake then also set up a station for water accessories. Place towels, goggles, rafts, and other fun water toys in an area that is easy to access for children.
Play music, and have lots of outdoor games available! Some great cheap examples include: horseshoes, footballs, and baseballs, badminton, and croquet.
And last but not least add your own personal, creative touches! Add tiki torches, outdoor lights, leis, pinatas, or anything else that adds a little fun to your bbq bash!
