Christmas 2010 Last Minute Gift Ideas

Last Minute Christmas Gifts

Do you tend to procrastinate and put off your shopping until the last minute every year? If so you're needlessly putting yourself through a lot of stress, unfortunately procrastination is a very hard habit to break and a lot of people do suffer from it.

This article will at least help to make things a little easier on you if yet again you've waited until the last minute to do your Christmas shopping.

Give An Amazon Gift Card

A gift card makes a nice Christmas gift, especially if you have waited until the last minute to start your shopping this year. Most people enjoy getting a gift card, I know that I do. Because it allows you to buy something that you really want, instead of receiving a gift that you don't need or can't use. Right now Amazon is offering free one day shipping for their gift cards but if it's really late just have it emailed instead, that way you can be assured that they will get it in time.

Give MP3's

Give music this year for a fast, thoughtful and easy gift that they'll really love. To do this just search for the song and or album that you want to give, then click on Give Song or Album as a Gift. Next you will be able to personalize your gift with a message and Amazon will email the recipient and let them know that they have a gift.

Give Kindle Books

Give Kindle books for a thoughtful and easy gift. You don't even have to own a Kindle to read the books, just download the free Kindle app to your cell phone or computer to turn it into a Kindle reader.

Ordering a book on Kindle is very easy just look up the book or author that you're interested in. Then when ordering click the Give as Gift button and you're done.

Gift Baskets

If you still have a day or two left before Christmas you can always order a gift basket with either 1 or 2 day shipping, depending on how much time you have left.

Gift baskets make great gifts for everyone whether it's a friend, co-worker, a boss, relative or even spouse.

I personally love getting a gift basket because it allows me to try new things, such as soaps and lotions or even different types of food that I might otherwise never try.

Make A Gift Basket

But if it's really last minute and you don't have time to buy one you can always make up a gift basket of your own. Just find a basket or bag and start filling it with different soaps, lotions, bath gel and candles, throw in a bath sponge. Then add a gift tag with a large bow and you're done.

For a food basket you can visit your local bakery and fill it with different breads, cookies and other deserts, then add a bag of cocoa and or coffee beans.

You could also do a movie night gift basket, just fill a basket with different types of popcorn and movie candy like junior mints and skittles then add a couple of new movie releases and you're all set.
