Thanks, I just got Mariah Carey's new one and it's really good... still I think I prefer her first one though. Also, don't forget about Loui$a's new Xmas album! Highly recommended.

Thanks MMP - I love music so it is easy for me to just dig and dig for great songs! I only wish I could buy all of them and then have the time to listen to all of them! But gifting them is a great idea!!!

What a great idea for a gift! We all have someone who just seems to have everything but who doesn't love music? Thanks for sharing and offering up some really great choices.

Dim - It is psychological - you don't want it to be Christmas again so quickly maybe? ha ha I learned years ago to keep them with the actual Christmas decorations, which alleviates the old ladyitis problem of 'now where the heck did I put those again?' And I have them on my iPod for good measure - the plan is foolproof! Except...where did I put my iPod again.....?

Why is it that I always loose the CDs with Christmas carrols right about Christmas? It is an inevitable fact, so can someone explain?

Thanks for your kind comments, BJ - I always think I have 'enough' Christmas music but I love finding new artists and I can't resist. Last year it was Andrea (my hero) and I have Barbra as one of my favorites as well - but then I heard Susan and I REALLY love Celtic Thunder....and then the whole Mannheim Steamroller just get me in the mood so me thinks I have an endless 'addition' to my Christmas music every year.

I loved the Wilson Phillips too to be honest though their sound is not as 'classy' as Barbra or Susan....then the P Sisters really have a great sound....ah heck!! I'm sunk - I'm going to buy all of these probably except for Mariah Carey....I like her but she is just not that unique compared to some of the other artists....I didn't say that did I?

Your aesthetic sense is in full view with this hub, Audrea. How beautifully you have laid everything out. Barbara Streisand and her albums have always been my number one choice. Now I have added Susan Boyle to that list, too.

Thanks for these choices and videos. Merry (two months before) Christmas.

Dallas - I know - just around the corner! Yikes!!

Dolores - That sounds like a great CD to have, too - will have to look into the Roches as I add one every year to my collection too!

Audrey, I think I'd like the Susan Boyle Christmas CD. Her beautiful voice would be a great addition to my Christmas music collection! I love Christmas music and try to add a new CD every year. One of my favorites is by the Roches, a folk group of 3 sisters who got their start by singing Christmas songs on the street corners of NYC.

Oh this is just awesome. I have boxes of Christmas Music Collections CD's and each year I'm out to find a new addition to my collection. We play music round the clock in our house during the holidays. We never run out of new material.

What a great resource for new Christmas Music CDs

Blessings and Happy Holidays, Katie

Sage - I know! I had no idea until I checked out what was new for my collection this year!!

Gus - that is TOO hilarious - I say go for it!!

A good list, Audrey. Thanks. Christmas music is really special stuff that even non-Christians can enjoy.

I was considering recording an album for Hallowe'en listening. I thought better of it when I realized that I could not afford the liability insurance to defend all of the lawsuits that would ensue from people playing the album and getting after me for scaring the daylights out of them and their kids. The songs would have been OK. It was my voice, for that voice scares even me who owns it.

Gus ;-O

Carolina - I'm with you - even by mid December, I'm pretty sick of hearing it. I just wish they didn't play it in stores so I could actually ENJOY my CD's more!!

Eiddwen - I hear you - I have an entire collection already and some favorites that I can't wait to hear each year but then I'm always the gal buying 'one more CD' every year and listening to my family tease me!

It does creep up on us doesn't it but I don't think I will ever have too much of Xmas music and this selection is great.

Thank for sharing

these.

Take care.
