Creative Ideas For Christmas
It's that time of the year once again. The time where you know that you're going to have to go out and get gifts for everyone. Yes, ladies and gentleman: it's Christams time again!
This hub was not planned. In fact, i've come to realize that creativity hits me when i stare at a blank wall. White and so plain. I figured i needed something to break the plainess of the wall so i got out some paper and created little flowers to really pop against that wall. I must admit, it looks good.
And that's an idea for a gift. Instead of buying expensive gifts, why not use that creative flair inside you and make homemade gifts? I would prefer a homemade gift any day because i know the person took the time and the effort to make it for me and it means more than a prepackaged gift.
An idea would be to create a scrapbook of something the person would like. Perhaps its flash cars for boys or flowers for girls. Either way, this is a present which can last a long time and hold many memories.
Have old photo frames lying around? Use them! Create a collage of photos of family, friends or perhaps colorful items that would brighten up a house. I did this once and made a collage of a blue daisy out of little bits of blue paper. It was hard work by definately worth the smiles and praise.
Got a lot of colored paper or maybe stickers? Create an inspirational quotebook. Take quotes from online sources filled with inspiration to motivate others. No need for professional binding; punch a hole in it and bind it together with a bright ribbon or piece of string.
While these are only a few random ideas, they can help you discover what you would like to create. Otherwise, go ahead and buy a gift for someone. May save you time but could not have the same effect as a homemade gift.
