Fun Treats for Halloween Parties

Treats are some of the best things about Halloween. From cupcakes to cookies and everything in between you can create an entire menu of fun and scary things to eat.

There are many easy to make items to whip up in the kitchen. Family and friends will enjoy digging in to these scary surprises at your Halloween get together. First start by decorating your home in simple black and orange colors. This includes tablecloths (paper ones are okay), glasses, plates, streamers and more.

The dollar store has lots of inexpensive decorations for the home and after the party is over the kids can take them home with them.

One of the more popular items to make for Halloween is cupcakes. Cupcakes can be decorated with witches, spiders, bats, ghosts, pumpkins and more. Treats can be made using candy corn, apples, create cookie graveyard, and many more ideas.

Other food items can be tombstone cookies, spiderweb pizzas, spooky dip, ghoulish drinks, coffins and more.

Scary or Fun Treats and Decorations

Deciding on whether to make your food and decorations more fun or scary depends on the type of people attending the party. For small children it's best to make things simple and fun. From playing Halloween games to listening to spooky background sounds.

Kids are easy to please with a few decorations and basic colored cupcakes and treats. Parents can even have the kids help decorate and plan the party. There are lots of free craft items they can make to decorate the home. Projects like candy corn treat bags, decorating pumpkins, bats and spiders made with pipe-cleaners, treat bags made from felt and more.

For adult parties you may want to be a little more creative with printable party games, interesting decorations and unique cupcakes, cakes, drinks and more in the Halloween theme.

No matter what you decide to do for your party there are many Web sites and free ideas available on the Internet to throw a successful Halloween party and provide delicious treats.

Good ideas and I love the Brains!Cupcake Kit (I should say my son would love it...he would think it was "gross, but great!) Thanks for sharing, I voted this up and shared it.
