Easter Decor

Creativity Made Simple

My Mom lives in a retirement home. I have been decorating her apartment for each Holiday and/or Season during the year. We removed the Valentine's Day decorations today. Easter is just around the corner.

While shopping in Walmart, I found decorated plastic eggs, colored grass and Easter stickers for under $5.00,

Using a clear glass dish with a lid, I placed one third of the yellow grass from the package into the dish, lining the bottom like a nest. Taking the plastic eggs, I filled each one with candy. The eggs were then placed into the colorful grass.

My cute Easter stickers cost $1.00. By placing the stickers around the jar and on the lid, the glass container became very festive. There were Easter eggs, carrots and flowers. Some of the stickers had Easter messages on them!
