Happy Father's Day
Fathers Day is a great time to stop and tell dad you love him. Whether he is in your home, or lives out of town, or out of the country, your dad will appreciate a few words of love and laughter on this his special day.
Here's a few funny Fathers Day poems for you and your loved ones to enjoy.
My Father's a Golfer
Oh Father dear,
We salute you this day.
Golf clubs in hand,
You're an every sport man,
Enjoy hitting the green your way!
F is for fearless,
My dad is that you know.
A is for all
The places that we go.
T is for talking,
He says, I do that much too much!
H is for happiness,
He always gives me that in a bunch.
E is for enthusiastic,
Maybe the longest word in the world.
I can barely say that word.
But I'm told, it is how I feel
Being Daddy's special little girl!
R is for all these reasons
He's the best dad in the world!
My dirty little handprint
I've left on every wall
And on the drawers and tabletops
I've really marked them all.
But here is one that won't rub off,
I'm giving it to you...
Do you know why??
Well, I'm so thankful
To have a father like you.
A Tough Job
Pull up your pants.
Comb your hair.
Brush your teeth.
Don't you stare..
Mind your manners.
Do your homework.
Don't stay up too long.
Take out the trash.
Rake the leaves.
Cut the grass.
Don't play too rough.
Being a dad sure is tough,
You have to remember to constantly say,
All this stuff.
What can I get my Daddy
For this special day?
He needs nothing,
"I have everything"
I always hear him say.
Boy, this is really got me thinking..
So I guess, this is what I'll do...
A big empty box
Put a note in it,
I love you!
