These 5 and the SUCCESS FORMULAS

#1 Get out of debt - Success Formula = Spend less. Increase your income.

Spend less = Stop at the store on your way home from work, saves gas and time.

Bring your lunch - saves gas, time and money.

When your family or friends want to go out to eat, grab a sandwich at home and enjoy dessert with them at about half the price of the meal. Remember spend less, not spend nothing! You still need to have fun.

Increase your income = Get a second job for a while. Sell something.

Tutor or teach, math, piano, guitar, basic computer knowledge, something you know.

Be a baby sitter, dog walker, grass cutter. Cut coupons and use them. Use coupons for only the items you normally buy. Buying items that you and your family don’t like is actually wasting money because no one will use/eat it.

#2 Spend more time with family - Success Formula = Just DO IT! Make time! Write it down! You've heard “the pen is mightier than the sword,” its true here, use the pen, make list, get a calendar. Write down a list of things you didn't get to do last year, example, missed the family reunion, Becky’s graduation, Mindy’s recital, Matthews football game, Kevin’s BBQ cookout, worked on New Years eve. If it is a specific date like New Years, put in for vacation right now don’t miss it again. On your calendar write down dates of activities you do annually, Dec 24thgo to Nanna’s, Jan 12th Mom and Dads Anniversary, August school starts this month, etc. This gives you a basic idea of your year and a great start at setting aside time for family. Now start gathering information and specific dates, family reunion, Matthews football game schedule, when is Kevin having his BBQ cookout this year etc. Once a month plan a family fun day, this could be a trip to the Zoo, or a day at home playing board games, or computer games. Find out whats going on, plan and make time for it.

#3 Get in shape and lose some weight - Success Formula = Eat less and move more.Actually it should be eat less carbohydrates and it shouldn’t be all about dieting but losing weight for life. http://hubpages.com/hub/Lose-weight-for-life here you can learn about how many carbohydrates the foods you like contain and how many you are consuming. Choose different foods with less carbohydrates. Life is for living, God gave us all these taste buds for reason! Do not eat while you are watching TV. You are training your brain that you should be eating while you watch TV.

Move more -

Park a little farther from the store than usual, walk some. Take the stairs once in a while.

If you can, do 10 jumping jacks 3 times a day. Take a walk at lunch or on break.

Do something, move.

You could join a gym, start slow, because if you are not used to exercising it will be hard. Little by little it will be easier, you will feel better, look better, and be better.

#4 Get organized and uncluttered - Success Formula = Plan - Using your calendar from above note the dates you have entered and try not to plan anything within a day or two of these dates. This will give you a cushion to prepare for that days activities. If you have to go out of town and want to have your oil changed, go back two weeks from that date and write Oil Change on your calendar. This will give you a two week window, but try to do it as close as possible to the date you have written on your calendar. There’s another old saying everything in its place and a place for everything. This can really save you time searching for those scissors. Pick a place to put them and anything you seem to always be searching for, your keys, even your eye glasses. It is hard to find them when you can’t see without your glasses!

Clearing the clutter. Usually there are several areas of clutter for most of us. Chose a small area to start with. Break it up into smaller jobs. Do one thing at a time. Start with maybe your closet. You may have 5 or more sizes of clothing in there, go through them and get rid of clothes that don’t fit you. Take the ones that are like new to a consignment store and give away the others to charity. Some items may have been purchased for special occasions and will not be worn again. For these items set up an eBay account to earn a few dollars.

#5 Quit a bad habit, smoking, drinking, gossiping, etc. Success Formula = Mind over matter, and get help. If the habit is an addiction, you will probably need help. All habits are hard to break because you have been doing it for so long. It takes 21 days to form a new habit a key to success is to replace the old habit with a new one, a healthier one.
