How to Make Fabulous Twilight Party Favors
Make Your Own Twilight Party Favors
Another movie in the Twilight Saga will soon be released, and that means lots of Twilight parties this spring and summer! This hub will show you a great collection of clever homemade Twilight party favor ideas.
I've looked all over to bring you these ideas for homemade Twilight party favors. You'll see ideas from clever folks who spent a little time making labels that transform everyday items into fabulous Twilight party favors.
Of course, the big party supply websites will carry other favors specific to the newest movie, like stickers, temporary tattoos and Twilight buttons showing the main characters. You will probably want some of these favors in your goody bags, too.
But to really impress your guests, use the ideas shown here as inspiration to make your own version of a unique Twilight party favor!
Turn Blank Notebooks into Something Dazzling
Blank notebooks that came with a cover in black, white or red were the starting point for these favors. Clever sayings, photos of the movie characters and matching ribbon were glued to the cover to transform them into gorgeous Twilight theme journals.
Red Candy "Blood Bags"
Here are two versions of a hospital "blood bag" party favor filled with small red licorice bites (aptly named candy!). They both use homemade labels identifying the contents by blood type.
Team Jacob Party Favors
These blank notebooks started out with a plain silver glitter cover. Black, red and silver ribbons were tied through the spiral rings and letters spelling out Team Edward or Team Jacob were glued to the cover. Another fabulous effect!
The werewolf kibble can be packaged in snack bags with the label attached, or in small jars as shown in the second photo. The label template can be downloaded at this site.
The "werewolf kibble" is really just Chex Mix Muddy Buddies snack mix, and you can find the recipe here. The first photo shows a couple of bone shaped cookies included in the bag of kibble, but that's optional.
Twilight Snacks Party Favor Ideas
These small jars are filled with sour candy and the label says "Volturi Thirst Quenchers, Ingredients: Unsuspecting Tourists in Italy." Create a label on your computer and attach them to small bags or jars of any favorite candy.
This clever idea makes a vampire-lovers popcorn colored with red jello. Mix up a batch using the recipe found here, and fill cellophane bags to make individual favors. Be sure to attach your own label that says "Vampire-Lovers Popcorn."
More Twilight Party Favors to Make
Bella's character seems to be accident-prone, and of course, any cut should be covered completely with a bandage to prevent the smell of blood reaching the vampires. So this favor item takes a small package of band aids and attaches a tag warning the guest to cover all open cuts.
Edward's eye color is described as topaz, so this favor uses topaz bracelets with a quote about "His liquid topaz eyes..." attached.
Twilight Favor Bags
Once you've decided on all the Twilight favors to use, you'll want a great goody bag to hold all the items. These next photos show how to take a bag or box and make it a great Twilight favor bag.
Start by looking for a bag or box that already has a design in red or black. The first photo shows two great bags with a red and white design. Homemade labels were attached with black ribbon.
The next photo shows a Chinese style take out box with a black and white design. I've seen these at Michaels Craft Store and similar ones at the Container Store. Again, the hostess made a Twilight label and attached it with contrasting red ribbon.
The last two photos show plain bags that were dressed up using photos of Bella and Edward and ribbon.
