Father's Day Gift Ideas: For the Dad who loves gardening

If gardening tops Dad's list of hobbies, why not give him a gift he'll be sure to get lots of use out of. Below are a few Father's Day gift ideas that any dad with a green thumb will surely love!

Mantis Gas-Powered Tiller/Cultivator

This powerful compact tiller/cultivator will let Dad prepare his vegetable gardens and flower beds with ease! It's compact design and light weight (just over 21 lbs) allow it to easily maneuver into tight places where a larger tiller simply would not be able to.

I have had my Mantis tiller for 5 years now. I chose to purchase the Mantis over a larger tiller, because I have a rather small shed in which to store my tools. I maintenance my tiller once or twice a year (clean the air filter, replace spark plug, clean the tines) and I have not had any problems with it.

An extremely valuable tool at a reasonable price; this is one gift that will relieve some of the backache associated with gardening.

Roof Gutter Flusher and Cleaner

This gadget will allow your father to easily clean out and unclog the roof gutters without needing to climb up on a ladder. A task that may have taken Dad hours to complete in the past can now be accomplished in minutes. The model listed below is lightweight (less than 3 lbs) and couldn't be easier to use. Simply attach the sprayer or V-jet sprayer head to a garden hose, and adjust the spray pattern as needed (fine spray, direct jet, or power jet).

Electronic Soil Tester

An excellent Father's Day gift idea; an electronic soil analyzer will let Dad take the guess work out of gardening. Your father will be able to get an instant reading, and know for sure that his garden soil is well nourished.

5 Piece Garden Tool Set with Tote and Folding Seat

Having the right tools for the job will make your fathers time spent in the garden even more enjoyable. The handy set below comes with 5 metal gardening tools which feature wooden handles and leather straps for hanging. The durable and convenient tote doubles as a folding seat! The tools fit nicely into pouches on the exterior of the tote making them easily accessible while seated. The tote has two additional zippered storage sections, one on top and one on the back. Comfort, convenience and value make this gardening tool set an excellent Father's Day gift idea

I hope my ideas were able to help you choose a great gift to give to your Dad on Father's Day. If you come across any cool new gardening gadgets that you think would make for a great gift please come back and let us know.
