Get your Party Ready for the Super Bowl

Super Bowl Sunday Party Planning

Super Bowl Sunday is just around the corner, so make sure you have all that you need to have a great football themed party. Make sure to send out the invitations. Although a Super Bowl party is usually a casual affair, you want to send them out so that your guests can put it up on their refrigerator as a reminder after they have rsvp'd. It's also a good idea to confirm the day before the party so that you have an idea of how many people are coming.

You'll want to prepare food that's easy to munch on because everyone will want to watch the game. Serving buffet style is even better for you. In terms of what you want to have for food, start with finger foods at the beginning of the party. Here are some ideas: buffalo wings, chicken fingers, pigs in a blanket, pizza bites, and spring rolls. Don't over feed at the beginning of the party because the game lasts at least two hours. Have enough to satisfy any hunger pangs. Then at half-time, put out the heavier items: sliders, chicken satay skewers, meatballs on a stick, empanadas, and dinner rolls. Don't forget the butter. If you want to serve sandwiches, slice the sandwiches into smaller pieces for better handling. At the end of the game, serve the sweet stuff: mini-cupcakes, bite-size brownies, chocolate-dipped fruit, cookies. For drinks, have a good selection of water, sodas both diet and regular, and of course, beer and keep it cold! Have chips and dip always on hand throughout the game.

With this kind of easy preparation, you don't have to work too hard and you too can also enjoy the game.

Touchdown Serving Bowl Set

You're going to need plenty of bowls for the chips and these football bowls are just the right touch.

Chip and Dip Set

This cute Touchdown Field Chip and Dip Set consists of a serving platter to hold your finger food while the football can hold the dips or sauce. You could use this for chips, but I think this is great for buffalo wings and dip. You decide.

This 1-piece circular My Name is Mud Chip and Dip Set is great for serving Nachos and Salsa.

This ceramic football stadium chip and dip set is deep and holds a whole lot of chips.  The "stadium" measures 2x12.5x9.5 inches while the "football" dip bowl measures 2x5x3.75 inches.

Touchdown Platter

This platter is great for holding appetizers or finger food like sliders, pigs in the blanket, mini-sandwiches, chicken fingers, and cocktail franks. You could even use this as the dessert tray and put brownies and cookies for everyone.

Condiment Servers

This simple three-bowl condiment server is great to use for all sorts of dips, but I think it's great for holding all sorts of snack items like peanuts, pistachios, granola, trail mix and anything else that you want. Put it on the livingroom table and it's within easy reach for snacking.

Football Cuttingboard

Use this cuttingboard as a platter for serving your cheeses and crackers and breads. You can even use this as a serving tray in a pinch and show off cupcakes and bite size goodies that you've prepared and decorated in team colors.

Football Snack Bowl

It looks and feels like a regular football, but push a button and the top of the football swings to reveal a shallow bowl you can fill with snacks.  Best of all, the football plays the Fox NFL theme music!

Mini Football Mold and Cake Pan

Baking and serving your baked goods will be so much fun when you use these molds. Use these molds to bake your brownies in or to bake your minicakes; with a little icing or frosting not only will they be delicious to eat they'll have fun eating as well and create a festive atmosphere. If ou want to bake a large cake, use the cake pan to make a helmet shaped cake and decorate it with your favorite team colors and branding. Make two different types of cakes, such as Devil's Food and Red Velvet, and you can create competing team cakes. Your guests can take sides but they won't turn down either slice. The bundt cake baked in the Nordic Ware Pro Cast Stadium Pan will amaze your guests. And will make the cake fun to eat although some will be sorry that they have to eat such a masterpiece.

Football Fan Inflatable Cooler

This unique cooler hold ice and up to 72 drinks. It inflates to 29 1/2 x 14 inces. You'll never run out out of beer or drinks and it'll always be ready and ice-cold. There's less running around for drinks so you can enjoy more of the game. Afterwards, just deflate and it's so easy to store, ready to put up for your next Super Bowl party.

Hey tony, won't know you're there? You're bringing the beer, that means you'll be the popular person at the center of the party.
