5 Ways to Create the Best Twilight Party Decorations
Set the Mood with Great Twilight Decorations
Another movie in the Twilight Saga will soon be released, and that means lots of Twilight parties this year! I've collected some great photos of Twilight party decorations from around the web to show you. We all need a little inspiration as we plan a party, and these photos are sure to give you lots of ideas that will work in your party space!
The main colors to use are red, black and white for everything. I also recommend adding silver as an accent color....it dazzles just like vampire skin.
Twilight Decorations at the Front Door
Wow, this first photo is very impressive! The hostess placed red curtains on either side of her door, with a black runner leading guests up the walkway. Red apples are placed to the side on the runner, and a huge faux apple is displayed just before the front door. On the door itself is a banner with a photo of Edward and some wording.
Another clever decoration for your door is a homemade sign that looks just like the real one in the city of Forks, Washington. You can see it here on the official Forks website.
Twilight Table Decorations
These photos show just how much you can achieve using black, red and white to create a stunning tabletop look. Be sure to include candles and their soft glow will add to the party atmosphere. Red apples, ruffled tulips , torn pieces of red ribbon and chess pieces can all be incorporated into the table decorations.
A clever source of decorations for a Twilight party are quotes from the books and movies. Print up your favorites and place them in black frames.
Team Jacob Decorations
Team Jacob fans will want to use the image of a wolf in their decorations, along with trees to represent the forest where he lives.
The book cover of the first story in the Twilight series shows a red apple representing temptation, and there are many ways to use red apples in your decorations. These pictures show a vase filled with apples glowing in the candlelight. Other ideas are to place one apple at each place setting, or hollow out the top of the apples and place tea lights inside, as you can see in the third picture. The last picture uses the apple as a place card holder, with a fork stuck upright through the name card and into the apple.
