Halloween costumes are a long time tradition that many people take part it. Halloween is just around the corner and for some people it is their favorite holiday. Remember the Rosanne show and how she and Dan tried to pull the scariest Halloween tricks? Well, for others, Halloween is a time to dress us as your favorite alter ego and or a fun night out with friends.

There is another group of folks, who enjoy dressing up their dog or cats in adorable yet pet humiliating costumes. Halloween costumes for toddlers while can only be used for that one season, can also be quite adorable and fun. I have research a host of fun non-tradition costumes for those who love to dress up for the occasion.

I still remember how excited we were as kids when the holiday rolled around. We were all deciding what wanted to be, and prayed that our parents would be able to find our favorite costume.

Living in the city, we went out in groups, promising only to go to the homes of people we knew. We always came back with bags of teeth rotting candy and giggles and smiles!

There are also the Biblical themed costumes for people who don't want to celebrate Halloween, but give their children and alternative to have a Holyween party at home or church! So, you always have the option of going as your favorite Bible character.

Costumes

When I say upscale, I mean costumes that you might not find in the drug or KMart; but outfits you have to make yourself, special order or rent from a company that makes high quality outfits. "The Costumer," is an online store where you can rent seasonal, Costume & Theatrical Makeup, children's and period costumes.

They not only specialize in costumes for play and professional use, the also carry the makeup to give your outfit a completed and realistic finish. The costumes are so real and will make a great impact when you walk in the door.

I can be so much fun to dress up as your favorite television of movie character. Halloween it also a time when adults can act like kids!

Adult Couples

A lot of people love to go to parties dressed as a dynamic duo, such as Bonnie and Clyde, Sonny and Cher or King Kong and Faye Ray, boy was she a screamer! These are not the usual Halloween wear you will find walking the street on Halloween.

Mr. Costumes: This company makes costumes for couples, kids as well as pets. Couples themes are really popular and fun because everyone at the party knows who you are, and who you belong to, unless there is another couple with the same idea. Adult personalities are a little more expensive, but you will surely stand out!

Of course, these are not the usually trick-or-treat wear, but what you might find at a ball or adult party.

Sunshine625, I think most pets hate to wear costumes, no matter how adorable they look to us.

I love the pirate dog! I have a similar costume for my dog (8 lb toy fox terrier), but she does NOT like to wear any costumes. She's a party pooper.

lesyataya I know what you mean. I put a denim jacket on my cat that belonged to a dog I used to have. He had a fit! They are not as tolerant as dogs.

I'm gonna rent me a cute, lil puppy dog, 2besure, for Halloween so I can dress it up as the Lil Stinker when I trick or treat. Can't wait to see the looks on faces when people open their doors.
