Halloween by Roseanne - the Halloween episodes

Updated on November 30, 2013

Roseanne ran from 1988 until 1997. It starred Roseanne Barr and John Goodman and was an original idea for a family sitcom. It was about a working class family who had trouble making ends meet, had bratty kids and suffered the same problems as many of their viewers. It certainly was not your usual "Father Knows Best" type of sitcom.

From seasons 2 through 8, Roseanne had special Halloween episodes every year. It was some of the most entertaining television.

While most families make a huge deal over Christmas, the Connor's considered Halloween to be the best holiday of the year. The family would spare no expense to decorate their house and to come up with the most gruesome tricks to play on visitors and on one another. They would also expect great creativity of one another when coming up with costumes and with pranks.
