Living and Loving
Happy Valentines Day
Today, I share this piece on life and love, on living and loving because everyone is destined to live and love. It is a celebration, so everybody must celebrate.
Be thankful for being alive. Life has its ups and downs, beautiful and exciting. It is full of bright hopes, lofty aspirations and lots of memorable experiences. Whatever action, positive or negative, will help shape the course of our lives. Facing the future with a goal and purpose motivate us to strive and do good. We learn to treasure life’s worth after exciting pleasures and happy moments, feel the agony of the aches and pains in a challenging world. It is always a bittersweet life, polished through the years which makes all the more sustaining and fulfilling existence.
Some people are never contented of what they have. Rich people aim for more material things unmindful whether they step on others’ toes. Being busy makes them less appreciative of the luxuries and comforts they now enjoy – rich mansions, flashy cars and modern amenities for those born with a sliver platter.
To the less fortunate, having something to eat is already a blessing, sheltered in one’s makeshift abode and clothe in hand down apparel. There are things to be thankful from the Almighty God.
Rich possessions are worthless if one does not enjoy and appreciate that life is worth living. Living and loving go hand in hand. For to live is to love and enjoy God’s bountiful joys and blessings in simple things.
How true is the adage which we can ponder. “It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy that makes happiness.” Life is what we make it.
Happy Hearts Day to all!
