The park is decorated with pumpkins, The Haunted Mansion is decked out in even more spooky decoration than usual, and tickets are available on select nights for Mickey's special Halloween party which is held every year at Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is what is called a specially ticketed event. In other words you need a different ticket to the general entrance ticket to Disney World. Is it really worth it? Will Disney World Be Crowded?

What is Special About Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party?
So now we know it isn't because we can get on the rides any faster - what is offered at the Halloween Party?
There is a special parade "Boo-to-You" which of course is Halloween themed and also includes some of the characters from the Haunted Mansion. This is definitely a must see.
A special fireworks display. Happy HalloWishes is a unique fireworks display with he backdrop of Cinderella Castle. Watch out for a very high villain content!
Character appearances by the villains. As you would expect this is of course one of the best opportunities of the year to get up close and personal with the Disney villains!
Trick or treating stations. Of course this is the time to trick or treat. There is always a lot of discussion of just how 'good' the candy is and of course how plentiful is the supply - but go expecting a decent selection of brand name candy and usually you won't be disappointed.
Everyone can wear costume. It is a little known fact that no one over the age of 9 or a Disney Cast Member is allowed to wear costume in a Disney park. Except for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Subject to certain restrictions of decency and taste (use common sense here) everyone is encouraged to dress up.
