Poinsettias ~ Holiday Plants

The most popular plant of the holiday season is the beautiful and must-have Poinsettia plant.

Poinsettias are beautiful display plants representing the beginning of the holiday season.

There are many varieties of Poinsettias to display during this holiday season as well as previous holiday seasons.

Poinsettias are very beautiful and elegant plants that are enjoyed in homes all over the world and displayed as a reminder of the holiday season.

Every year a different variety and color of Poinsettias is introduced to the world.

Poinsettia plants are displayed in local stores and markets by the end of October or the beginning of November and will continue to be plentiful throughout the winter months until February.

Poinsettias Variety

White Poinsettias

White poinsettias are very beautiful as well as the pink ones. The red poinsettias are still highly popular and beautiful. No other plant will create a beautiful color accent in your home.

One can always add a little holly to complement a poinsettia plant. Holly's bright red berries really make this plant a very happy and cheerful plant.

Poinsettias have been improved in recent years to last even longer in home or office conditions. However, there are a few tips to remember that will help poinsettias stay fresh and last longer.

Poinsettias make great holiday gift ideas and beautiful decorations. They are very inexpensive and available in a variety of holiday stores.

Every year we see the beautiful, star shaped plant. With each beautiful red leaf, which reminds us of the season of goodwill and cheer. What a great feeling of joy.

Poinsettias are truly a beautiful plant that are seen in every form and color this time of year. A friend gifted us with the first one in our house this season and this particular poinsetta is the traditional red color.

I liked your last sentence best of all in this hub: "But remember, the greatest blessings that we have are the moments we share with family and friends." So very true! We treasure our friendship with you!

Thanks for sharing this one. I bought one of these a few years ago and it didn't do very well

Maybe after reading this my next one may thrive.

Take care and have a wonderful day.

Hi Cheryl,

It is now March 9th and the poinsetta plant that we received as a Christmas gift from our neighbor still looks great as an inside potted plant. I know that when we lived in Wisconsin, we once had one that lasted until sometime in May!
