Quotes & Sayings for Father's Day

Honour Thy Father

Father's Day falls on a Sunday in June every year, and it is a day held for all fathers, or father figures, and fathers that have been. It is a day to celebrate our fathers, and all that they have done, and do for us. It's the perfect chance to tell your dad just how much you love him!

Here's a collection of my favourite Father's Day quotes and sayings, some are funny quotes, and some are sweet and meaningful. They're great for inside father's day cards, or on gift tags, for an extra special touch.

These quotes are great. I love the funny ones -- like the ones credited to Bill Cosby. Did you ever hear his routine - Dad is great; he gives us chocolate cake? Ha!

I'll vote up. Some fun quotes here. Red Buttons probably the best. Bill Shakespeare seems to have thought a lot about his own father. I believe he was in the wool trade. It is a wonder then that Bill went in for acting and playwriting.
