A Cake made for a Princess

Are you planning a Snow White Birthday Party? Well if you are then you will certainly want to see How to make your own Snow White Birthday Cake to go along with it. It is not as hard as it looks and you have many options on how you can create one. Parents sometimes thing it is much easier to just buy a store bought cake, but I like the old fashioned way of making the cake yourself. It makes the party much more personalized and special if you were to make the cake yourself.

I will show you how you can do that right here by sharing many of the options available to you, photos for inspiration along with links to find Step by Step Instructions. So before you go ordering your Snow White Cake take a look at how much fun and how easy it really is to create something Magical that you can be proud of.

How to make a Princess Doll Birthday Cake

Lets start with How to make a Doll Cake using a Snow White Doll

You will find a great How to Video to your right that shows you how to make your cake Step by Step. There are also other tools available to help you create your cake like the Wilton Wonder Mold Kit which gives you the cake pans needed to create your doll cake. Of course you will also need your Snow White Doll which is also a nice bonus that the Birthday Girl gets to keep once the party is over.

Colors Needed for your Cake

There are 4 basic colors you need to create your Snow White Cake and they are:

  • White
  • Blue
  • Yellow
  • Red

A great way to get the desired colors for your frosting is by using Gel Paste Food Coloring. It is similar to regular Food Coloring, but the colors are much brighter and more true. Of course you can use your regular food coloring, but it will require more testing to get the color you are looking for.

You can also choose to just go with the yellow for her skirt and use the doll clothing on the doll as is.

Using Fondant for the Dress

Of course you can also use Fondant for Snow White's Dress and if you have never used it before that is Ok - you have options. You can purchase Fondant already made that you can just add color to or you can follow the link I have here to a great recipe on how to make your own.

Just for Fun - How to look like Snow White

Snow White Cake Toppers

Other ideas you can use for your cake are Snow White Cake Toppers. You can find a nice variety of toppers available to use on your cake. You can also find some great figures of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs that you can also add. Another cute idea is to take the Seven Dwarf Figures and have them all around the bottom of your Snow White Doll cake.

You can also choose to use one of the Snow White Edible Cake Images that are available as well. These images can also be customized with your own sentiment to make it more personal.

You can even create an Apple Shaped Cake or Treats for the party

You can also create an Apple Shaped Birthday Cake for the party to go along with how Snow White had to take that bite. You can even just add some fun Apple Treats like Apple Cake Pops or Apple Cookies in addition to the Snow White Cake. I think doing this would add a real Magical touch - Don't You? Unless everyone is scared to take a bite - lol. The Wilton Sports Ball Pan Set to give you the round shape and then go from there with decorating - add licorice for your stem and do not forget to take a big bite out of the side!!! Well pretend until it is really time to eat the cake, but this would give you the opportunity to take a taste before hand - BONUS!!!

@sheryld30 I so wish I can take credit for those cakes, but they are not mine. The video makes it look pretty easy - I may have to try to make one myself. Thanks for stopping by.
