Teacher’s day gifts

Teachers' Day is a day to honor all teachers and to thank them for changing their lives to a better one forever. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. This is what actually a good teacher does. The day forms a great opportunity for the students to express their love towards their teachers and gifts serve as a token of this love and affection. Grown ups too can present gifts to their old teachers as a sign of gratitude towards them.

Gifts presented to teachers can be something to enhance their skills, or that which acknowledges their importance to the community. Try not to give too much expensive gifts to your teachers since they might feel uneasy about it. It can be an expensive gift if it’s a collective gift bought by the whole class. It is not the size of the gift but just the heart you put into it that is important. While presenting a gift to your teacher, it is necessary find out about his/her likes and dislikes. You can also personalize the gift with a special message accompanying it.

"A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for others."

When approached by his students and friends to allow them to celebrate his birthday, he replied that it would his proud privilege if the day would be observed as teacher’s day instead. From then onwards, the day has been observed as Teachers' Day in India.

Teacher’s Day gifts prove to be appreciation gifts, through which we convey to our teachers that we truly appreciate their efforts. They are a kind of reward to the teachers for their hard work and dedication. It is not the gift itself, but the thought of recognizing a teacher’s contribution in our life, through gifts, which is important. The gesture of giving presents to teachers is an acknowledgement of their importance in our life.

I've been searching around for this site after asked to visit them from a colleague and was pleased when I was able to find it after searching for some time. Being an avid blogger, I'm cheerful to see others taking initivative and contributing to the community. Just wanted to comment to show my approval for your page as it's very interesting, and many bloggers do not get appreciation they deserve.
