The Christmas Spirit's in the Air
Catch the Spirit of Christmas
The Christmas spirit song is in the air, so we must catch it now, if we can,
It swirls and twirls over all the land, and to have it, just extend your hand.
It travels afar from Galilee, and moves across miles, from the Holy Land,
From a small village there, in Bethlehem, the whole world, then to span.
The Christmas spirit, sent to us, on that special morn,
It's there to remind us all, that Jesus Christ was born.
If we just reach out our hands, a friend, we all may be,
In our reverence to honor Jesus, the King of Galilee.
A babe was born in the stable then, there wrapped in swaddling clothes,
Such a mild and gentle soul, was given birth, then in his stature, he arose.
He taught the good way and righteous life, and for all to follow in this path,
The God above us, in his love, gave redemption, and to escape his wrath.
The spirit flies above, up in the skies, to reach us all, who accept its glory,
With open hearts and a willing faith, as we are told in this celestial story.
When we receive it, to be transformed, all changed in shapes and forms,
Now we're clad in strong suits of steel, to withstand all our strife and storms.
Who would but know, that from such a small face, an awesome strength is found,
The human spirits, each holds within, releases us from the chains, we're bound.
On Christmas morn, a savior was born, and in his honor, we bow, to say a prayer,
To hold a hand, shows that we care, and there's so much more, for all to share.
Refrain (repeat last line once again)

A comforting poem of faith and hopefulness to be shared by all...
I write of the very special time at Christmas when my father and I went out into the country to find a cedar tree and what it meant to our entire family.
There are those among us who reflect the love of all...a true meaning in the origin of our own creation...
