Twilight Cupcakes

These Twilight Cupcakes happen to be one of my favorites that anyone can create so I will share this one first. These Cupcakes was made by Amanda from With Sugar on Top for a Tween Birthday Party.

I think these are Simple and Easy to make and really make a statement about Bella and Edwards Love.

What you will Need:

  • Baked Cupcakes - I think any flavor would do
  • Frosting - You can use Buttercream, Redi-Whip, Cool Whip or Vanilla or White Tub Frosting
  • Red Edible Sugar Shaped Hearts
  • Red Decorating Gel

Then just Frost or Pipe on your Frosting to the Cupcakes. Make two Holes (Vampire Bite) using a Toothpick or other object into your Frosting, then Squeeze in some Red Food Coloring Gel so it drips down the side a bit to look like Blood.

That's it - so Easy !!!

Twilight Birthday Cake

I have seen some pretty amazing Twilight Birthday Cakes that have been made, but most of the really fancy ones have been made using Fondant. There is nothing wrong with that if you know how to use it. Personally I do not have much experience using it myself and I know I am not alone.

There are other ways you can create a Tiered Cake without using Fondant to get a similar look that is a bit easier to do. It is by using a product called Edible Image Designer Prints. They are Edible Images that you wrap around your cake and they give you the look of a High End Cake. They can be used on buttercream, fondant, gum paste, chocolate, whipped toppings, fudge and ice cream cakes.

There are many designs to choose from, but I think the Black and White Patterns are Perfect for a Twilight Birthday Cake. You can then add a Twilight Cake Topper of your choice to the top - maybe even an Apple (Real or Artificial), Chess Pieces and you can even add in some Red Accents using Ribbons or Decorative Cake Frosting.

Twilight Edible Cake and Cupcake Images

Another easy way to create a Twilight Birthday Cake or Cupcakes is by using Edible Twilight Cake Images that are Edible Photos of characters or scenes from the Twilight Movies. These just get placed on the Top of your Frosted Cake. Then you can add some extra details using a Decorative Cake Frosting and anything else you want. They come in all different shapes and sizes and can even be personalized.

The hardest part is picking one out since there are so many.

Twilight Photo Op

How much fun would it be to have your picture taken with one of your favorite characters from the movie? Of course unless you are one of the lucky few to be able to afford having them actually come to the party it is pretty much a no go.

But not to worry because you can have some fun with one of the Twilight Cardboard Stand Ups and they look so real in a photo. So whether you are on Team Edward or Jacob or are even a big fan of Bella, there is one for everybody.

These photo also make great party favors. Take pics of each of the guests standing next to one and mail it as a thank you when the party is over and they will have a fun keepsake.,
